The Ultimate John Masters Organics Review

John Masters Organics has a fantastic range of natural and organic hair care products widely available and priced mid-range that includes clean shampoos, conditioners, masks and styling products. Celebrating their 25th year this year, John Masters Organics is practically a household name for holistic and natural lifestyle enthusiasts. Their hair care is famous worldwide with 70+ stores across the globe. Even the itty bitty hair salon on my street when I was living in Lugano used John Masters Organics products. And of course, every single product in this range is made of at least 70% organic ingredients.

john masters organics review

The eponymous line was started by the New York City hairstylist John Masters, and what began as a few homemade products has now grown into a full range of haircare, skincare, body care, and aromatherapy.  John Masters Organics recently launched plenty of new skincare products and I’ll be covering them in this review along with their popular hair care products.

It’s a little difficult to find out where to buy John Masters Organics products since their website only has a Store Locator for their flagship stores. They are actually widely sold at Whole Foods, Sprouts, ULTA, Macys, Amazon even Wal Mart and online health and natural beauty stores like LuckyVitamin, Dermstore and Pharmaca. If you are outside of the United States, you can buy John Masters Organics at Naturisimo, an online natural beauty store that ships worldwide for free (keep your orders under $50 to avoid customs and taxes). I‘ve been using John Masters Organics for years, and I’m sharing all my thoughts in this ultimate John Masters Organics review.

john masters organics shampoo

John Masters Organics Shampoo for Normal Hair

I was surprised by how liquid the consistency of the John Masters Organics Shampoo for Normal Hair felt. It is a very runny shampoo and not as thick as the gel shampoos that Ím used to, but still just as effective. The Scalp Stimulating Shampoo with Spearmint and Meadowsweet is identical in consistency and color except that it has an invigorating mint scent. Both shampoos have a dark brown liquid like gel consistency and lather decently well. I enjoy using both of these depending on whether I want a calming lavender herbal scent or a sharp mint scent. I usually prefer the Scalp Stimulating Shampoo if I’m washing my hair in the morning and the Shampoo for Normal hair with its calming lavender scent when I’m washing at night.

I appreciate that the shampoo begins with a base of Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice and includes naturally derived gentle surfectants and a boatload of botanical extracts that are amazing for hair like Horsetail Extract, Nettle Root Extract, and Comfrey Leaf Extract. The shampoo’s ingredients go above and beyond with Caramel, Linseed Seed Oil, Yarrow Extract, Green and White Tea extracts, and Hydrolyzed Rice Protein. I love getting these nutrient-rich and pure ingredients all up in my follicles and scalp so that they penetrate and heal my hair from the inside out. Hair health is not possible without scalp health since it all begins with the root. Every John Masters Organics shampoo does a great job at cleaning my hair and I would expect nothing less from a hair line created by a hairstylist. Another plus is that they’re unisex looking so the mister is also drawn towards using it instead of his usual highly toxic Head and Shoulders and (gross) Pantene Pro V.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Aqua (Water), Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citric Acid, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil*, Caramel, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Extract, Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey) Leaf Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Extract*, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Root Extract*, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil, Borago Officinalis Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Lavandula Hybrida (Lavender) Oil*, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Achillea Millefolium (Yarrow) Extract*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract*, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Extract*, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Linalool†

John Masters Organics Repair Shampoo for Damaged Hair with Honey & Hibiscus

John Masters Organics Repair range is my favorite out of all the JMO hair products. Anything for Damaged, Severely Damaged, Severely Dry, etc. hair and I’m sold! I need the products that are loaded with the good good. John Masters Organics shampoo is rich and creamy, lathers well and has the most beautiful floral hibiscus scent. The man loves it when I use this product.

The Repair Shampoo is designed for damaged, chemical and color-treated hair and helps hair health at the root to protect from future damage, breakage and split ends. It’s sulfate-free and contains a high amount of Organic Hibiscus Water and Hibiscus Extract to slough off dead skin and dirt, while balancing scalp’s natural oil production.

I can feel that this is a more hydrating formula than my other favorite shampoos from different lines. You do need to make sure that you wash this out very thoroughly otherwise it may weigh down your roots. It leaves my hair feeling clean and not at all stripped.

Ingredients: Water/Aqua, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Coco-Betaine, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Water (Hibiscus) *, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerin*, Lauric Acid, Mel (Honey)*, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract (Hibiscus)*, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang)*, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil (Cedarwood)*, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil*, Decyl Glucoside, Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Glyceryl Oleate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Coco-Glucoside Citrate, Gluconolactone, Coconut Alkanes, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Sorbitol , Sodium PCA, Sodium Benzoate, Lysolecithin, Sclerotium Gum, Xanthan Gum, Pullulan, Benzyl Alcohol †, Limonene †, Linalool †, Geraniol †, Citral

John Masters Organics Repair Hair Mask for Damaged Hair with Honey & Hibiscus

I fell in love with the John Masters Organics Repair Hair Mask so much that it made it to my OBL Personal Favorites blog post, which I updated to include it. It has the signature Repair line’s hibiscus, ylang ylang scent, but most importantly, this hair mask has worked the most effectively on my hair in all my years of mask testing. The buttery, creamy formula instantly softens my hair in the shower and leaves me with healthier looking softer hair.

How does the Repair Hair Mask compare to the conditioner and other John Masters Organics masks? The Repair conditioner and Rose and Apricot Hair Mask is more lightweight than the mask and while it does condition, it’s not as heavy duty as the Repair Hair Mask. The John Masters Organics Hair Mask for Normal Hair with Rose is also nourishing and works well for my hair, just not quite as great as the Repair Hair Mask.

The only downside to this hair treatment mask is that it runs out so quickly for me and it’s priced higher than the other treatment products.

john masters organics leave in conditioning mist

John Masters Organics Leave In Conditioning Mist

The Leave In Conditioning Mist is a very versatile lightweight, nutrient-rich mist that gives hair a boost of healthy ingredients, helps soften hair, and fights damage caused by pollutants, sun and environmental aggressors. It can also be used as a detangler, but as its so lightweight I need to spray very generously for it to be effective.

John masters organics leave in conditioning mist

The bottle is an entire 4.2 fluid ounces and lasts FOREVER. The scent, I wasnt too crazy about, but it has this soothing herbal citrus scent from ylang ylang, chamomile, grapefruit peel oil, rosemary leaf oil and lemon peel oil. It is VERY lightweight so perfect if you have fine, thin, normal hair but may not be as nourishing if you have thicker or coarser hair.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Coco-Glucoside, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract (Calendula)*, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea)*, Hydrolyzed Barley Protein, Glycerin*, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang)*, Pogostemon Cablin Oil (Patchouli)*, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil*, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil (Cedarwood)*, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract (Chamomile)*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil*, Urtica Dioica (Nettle) Leaf Extract*, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil*, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil (Geranium)*, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil*, Borago Officinalis Seed Oil (Borage)*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Brassica Oleracea Italica (Broccoli) Seed Oil*, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Benzyl Benzoate†, Benzyl Salicylate†, Farnesol†, Geraniol†, Limonene†, Linalool†

STYLING PRODUCTS

john masters organics hair paste

John Masters Organics Hair Paste

This is another favorite of mine from John Masters Organics hair care range. There really is no need to use toxic hair styling products with innovations like these that exist in the natural beauty industry. The John Masters Organics Hair Paste is suited for men or women with short hair so I had Mr OBL test this one out for me. This is a fantastic alternative to conventional hair gels and hair pastes, which are full of harmful sythetics and toxins. JMO Hair Paste instead uses an organic aloe vera and rice extract with honey, beeswax, oils and butters.

If your man uses a styling cream or gel everyday I highly recommend you have him try the John Masters Organics Hair Paste. He may not be totally in love with the scent as I find guys are very particular when it comes to scents, but the performance will win him over. This heavy-duty hold pomade works very well to keep hair styled and in place and is so strong that it lasts into the next day. This is a dense thick pomade and needs to be thoroughly washed out.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract*, Cera Alba (Beeswax)*, Mel (Honey)*, Bentonite, Tapioca Starch, Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil*, Aqua (Water), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil*, Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Boswellia Carteri (Frankincense) Oil, Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Extract*, Achillea Millefolium (Yarrow) Extract*, Lauric Acid, Palmitic Acid, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Limonene†, Linalool†

John Masters Organics Sweet Orange and Protein Styling Gel

The Sweet Orange and Protein Styling Gel is a great lightweight hair gel when you want to add subtle shine and need just a small amount of hold or tame flyaways. It feels practically weightless on hair and doesnt cake up or turn flaky. This would also still work well for fine and thin hair. The sweet orange and cedar scent is also an added plus.

I rarely do blowouts, but I also tried this as a blowdry treatment product, adding it to wet hair before styling and it helps blow dry results come out better and my hair looks less damaged.

Ingredients: Water/Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Sorbitol, Sclerotium Gum, Panthenol, Algin, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Polysorbate 20, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil*, Juniperus Mexicana (Cedar) Oil*, Ethylhexylglycerin, Limonene†

john masters organics exfoliating scalp brush

Exfoliating Scalp Brush

First off I have never heard of nor tried an exfoliating scalp brush before using John Masters Organics’ Exfoliating Scalp Brush. I didn’t know what to expect or how to compare it to other scalp brushes. Still, I was very excited to try John Masters Organics’ new hair brush because there are just not enough scalp health products available on the market. A lot of companies tend to overlook how important scalp health is when it comes to hair health. You simply cannot have healthy hair if your scalp is unhealthy, full of buildup or is dry.

My honest review is that at first I was super disappointed by the brush and then I grew to like it more but am still unsure. Confused? I kinda am too. I expected that it would feel like I was doing some intense physical exfoliation of my scalp but the bristle action was soo gentle I couldn’t feel much of anything happening when I brushed my scalp. So I laid it to rest for a while.

After my dog chewed up my regular hairbrush I resorted to using the exfoliating scalp brush as my normal brush. It seemed to be working a little better and I was using it through the lengths of my hair strands not just on my scalp like I did during the first tries. I think the scalp brush started working better because the bristles weren’t completely new and clean anymore. It’s hard to say!

The concept of the exfoliating scalp brush is actually brilliant. Its benefits:

  • Looped bristles help to gently massage and exfoliate the scalp
  • Brush helps to loosen build up and impurities, so natural oils can moisturize the skin
  • Preps the scalp before with mechanical exfoliation to help loosen build-up and impurities
  • Tines massage targeted area on the scalp without tangling the hair

I still don’t understand how this differs that much from a regular hairbrush which also basically massages the scalp but I hope that it IS doing a better job.

John masters organics lip calm

John Masters Organics Lip Calm

The John Masters Organics line is finally completed with their own lip balm – the Lip Calm. These organic lip balms come in Vanilla, Pomegranate, Pumpkin Spice, Hawaiian and Cherry Blossom and contain organic jojoba, olive and borage oils. I also loved their festive pumpkin one last fall! They’re as good a lip balm as any and feel nourishing, hydrating and smell delicious.

Ingredients: Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, cera alba (beeswax)*, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil*, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil*, passionfruit flavor, papaya flavor, guava flavor, linum usitatissimum (linseed) seed oil*, borago officinalis (borage) seed oil*, rose mosqueta (rosehip) oil* * Organic ingredient

John Masters Organics Skincare

john masters organics cleansing balm

Cleansing Balm with Kokum Butter and Sea Buckthorn

John Masters Organics gradually expanded their skincare range significantly with lots of new additions! Ill be sharing my thoughts on all the John Masters skincare products Ive tried in this review. The Cleansing Balm is a vibrant orange hued balm blended from organic oils and butters that goes from its solid form to oil when applied to skin. It immediately melts on contact and is super easy to apply throughout the face without feeling overly heavy. I love the way this cleansing balm feels, like a light and smooth silky butter. With water it emulsifies into a milky finish and rinses off.

This works effectively to remove my makeup and sunscreen as a first cleansing step. Remember that cleansing oils and balms should never be your entire cleansing routine. You absolutely need to use a regular facial cleanser after using the cleansing balm.

Ingredients:Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, Rhus Succedanea Fruit Wax, Polyglyceryl-2 Caprate, Sorbitan Olivate, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil (Geranium), Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil (Seabuckthorn)*, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Olive Oil Polyglyceryl-6 Esters, Polyglyceryl-6 Pentaoleate, Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil*, Silica, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Garcinia Indica Seed Butter (Kokum), Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil

John masters organics face oil

John Masters Organics New Nourish Face Oil with Pomegranate

The picture above actually shows both the old 2 oz pomegranate facial oil and the new 1.9 oz Nourish Face Oil which comes in a smaller glass bottle. I couldn’t detect any major differences except that the lavender scent is less strong in the new Nourish than the previous version and it seems like there is probably less sunflower oil content in the new one. The smaller bottle makes it more convenient to hold and use and the dropper is more appropriate for the 2-3 drops needed. HOWEVER, for JMO customers who have been fans of the original Pomegranate Face Oil, the new Nourish will sadly disappoint in terms of price and product size.

The New Nourish Face Oil starts with a base of organic sunflower seed oil and proceeds with organic lavender oil so if you are a lavender fan the scent of this will immediately overtake your senses and provide a calming effect. The Nourish Face oil is lightweight so perfect for daytime as well as nighttime use and contains organic pomegranate, evening primrose, and olive oils.

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf/Stem Oil*, Punica Granatum Seed Oil (Pomegranate)*, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang)*, Salvia Sclarea Oil (Sage Clary)*, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil (Geranium)*, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Peel Oil*, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Leaf/Twig Oil*, Linalool †, Limonene †, Geraniol †

John masters organics overnight facial mask

John Masters Organics Overnight Facial Mask

It seems JMO took notes from the popular K-beauty trend of overnight sleeping masks! I was definitely surprised to see this product launch and was intrigued. The Overnight Facial Mask is a hydrating, bouncy semi-clear gel mask with a beautiful fragrant rose aloe scent.

John masters organics mask

It is a lot more interesting than that though. The organic aloe base mask contains natural exfoliants like pomegranate enzymes and fruit acids to brighten and smooth skin and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time. It also worked in three phases. There are three levels of hydration released throughout the night: First, hyaluronic acid-like Konjac Root extract, followed by low molecular weight hyaluronic acids then high molecular weight hyaluronic acids.

This mask gives a major boost of hydration when my skin is feeling particularly dry or I haven’t been drinking as much water as I should be. My skin feels and looks more supple and brighter in the morning. It’s a great affordable alternative to, for example, another hydrating mask I use overnight from African Botanics that’s priced at a luxury rate of $180.

I love how lightweight yet goopy the consistency is and the sophisticated scent of aloe and rose that adds to the entire experience. It goes on and feels so silky smooth and I add several drops of my face oil to make the mask even more nourishing. The Overnight Facial Mask IS one of John Masters’ higher priced items at $60 so some thought does need to go into whether you feel it fits your budget or not.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera)*, Glycerin, Water (Aqua), Algin, Maranta Arundinacea Root Extract (Arrowroot)*, Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit Extract (Bilberry), Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil (Rose), Amorphophallus Konjac Root Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Sodium Phytate, Sodium Levulinate, Potassium Sorbate

John Masters Organics Calendula Hydrating and Toning Mask

The Calendula Hydrating and Toning Mask is another interesting mask by John Masters Organics. I used this mask at least once a week for a period of months back in 2018 and there were some uses where I did notice a difference and other times not so much. I find it to be an interesting mask because it feels like a thick yet super smooth moisturizer cream instead of the usual gel consistency most hydrating masks tend to be. So there were times I wasn’t sure how effectively the mask was hydrating my skin, but I do have to say that it does have a toning effect. That’s not to say it doesn’t feel hydrating while you have it on – it definitely feels very moisturizing and hydrating but I’m not a huge fan of cream hydrating masks. I prefer lots of juicy liquid and a feeling of my skin being “wet.”

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera)*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Populus Tremuloides Bark Extract (Aspen), Arachidyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Arachidyl Glucoside, Glycerin*, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Maltooligosyl Glucoside, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate*, Malpighia Glabra (Acerola) Fruit Extract*, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Seed Extract*, Spirulina Platensis Extract (Algae)*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract (Calendula)*, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Oil*, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil (Ylang Ylang)*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract*, Sclerotium Gum, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Anisate, Lactic Acid, Linalool†, Benzyl Benzoate†, Geraniol†, Farnesol†

Intensive Daily Serum with Vitamin C & Kakadu Plum

The Intensive Daily Serum is actually a true Vitamin C serum featuring Kakadu Plum which has 50% more vitamin c than oranges, brightens and helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has Aspen Bark to gentle exfoliate skin and rosehip oil which is known to help with healthy aging and fading dark spots.

This is a lightweight, hydrating serum with a creamy-gel serum consistency and smells of sweet citrus orange. Vitamin C serums are an absolute must in anyone’s skincare routine as it’s the single most proven ingredient to be effective for skin. Let’s talk a little about serum layering! I absolutely would recommend trying serum layering if you haven’t already. It basically means you use multiple serums to address different skin concerns. For instance, I like to use a Vitamin C Serum then use a hyaluronic acid serum on top or any other serums I currently have in rotation. It’s recommended to wait about a minute for each serum to settle before applying the next. Also, the strongest serums should go first because you want those ingredients to really penetrate and reach your skin cells.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera)*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Populus Tremuloides Bark Extract (Aspen), Rosa Damascena Flower Water (Rose)*, Ascorbic Acid/Orange/Citrus Limon/Citrus Aurantifolia Polypeptides, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Rosa Canina Seed Extract (Rosehip)*, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract (Kakadu Plum), Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract*, Malpighia Glabra (Acerola) Fruit Extract*, Phospholipids, Superoxide Dismutase, Spirulina Platensis Extract (Algae)*, Chlamydomonas Reinhardtii Extract, Ferulic Acid, Tocopherol, Diglycerin, Pinus Pinaster Bark/Bud Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil (Rose), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract*, Citrus Sinensis (Blood Orange) Peel Oil, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Sclerotium Gum, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Eugenol†, Linalool†, Farnesol†, Geraniol†

John Masters Organics Exfoliating Face Cleanser

As a skincare blogger, face cleansers are not the most exciting category for me to test and talk about, though I do go through episodic skincare phases where I get briefly obsessed with testing specific categories. I actually very much enjoy this face cleanser – it’s a liquid milky yellow-hued cleanser with a nourishing organic aloe base and small jojoba wax beads for subtle exfoliation.

The herbal and plant extracts like organic bearberry leaf extract, ginseng root extract, foraha fruit seed oil, combava peel oil, and blood orange peel oil make this a highly nourishing and antioxidant-packed cleanser. It’s milky and lightweight, feels hydrating on skin and doesn’t leave it stripped or dry. I love the slight added benefit of exfoliation, though I already get this from my sonic skincare device ZOE that I always use when cleansing. The scent is a vibrant uplifting citrus scent.

The other thing I love is how easy it is to dispense. I simply push down on the pump without any need to physically hold the cleanser in my hand or unscrew a cap off then screw it back on. It’s just easy and effortless to use, which is especially welcome late at night when it’s already a struggle to make sure I take off all the day’s makeup and grime.

Ingredients: Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice*, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil*, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) wax beads glycerin*, cocoglucoside, coconut alcohol, glycerin*, leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate, triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil*, arctostaphylos uva ursi (bearberry) leaf extract* panax ginseng (ginseng) root extract*, calophyllum inophyllum (foraha) fruit seed oil*, citrus hystrix (combava) peel oil, citrus sinensis (blood orange) peel oil, citrus reticulata (tangerine) peel oil, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) flower oil*, calendula officinalis (calendula) flower extract*, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract*, lauryl glucoside, sodium phytate, glyceryl caprylate, sclerotium gum, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, alcohol, citric acid, limonene, linalool *Certified Organic

    HI there
I’ve loved JM for years. My health food store used to sell it – no longer does – my local whole foods used to as well – they no longer do. I’ve heard that the company was acquired by the Aspirant Group out of Tokyo – I hope they continue w/ this great line. On the JM website quite a few products are out of stock or unavailable. I’m hoping the acquiring company continues this fabulous brand.
Do you have any information regarding this? thank you!

Yes they’re still going strong! I can only guess that they’re trying to move away from grocery retail to position themselves differently?
