I have shoulder length hair, wave type 2a, 2b.( My long hair was type 2C) After chopping off a lot of my hair, I lost my wave pattern. This mask, which I scrunched on in the shower, felt kind of weird in my hair. It felt like it had a lot of protein in it. However after rinsing it out, it made my hair wonderfully wavy. I like the ingredients, the fruity smell is pleasant, and I will definitely try it again.

Let’s just talk about how good this mask smells!! It’s like sugared tropical fruit cocktail and I really wanted to drink the bottle. The texture was a cream-gel which I really liked because it spread in my hair very easily and combing it through was nice and quick. I left it on for the minimum 15 minutes, only because I’ve got a toddler and that’s how it goes. My hair felt silky and hydrated after rinsing. I used my Aquis hair towel and Acure leave-in spray per usual and let it air dry. My wave pattern was on-point with no frizz! This is exactly what I was hoping for! I’d give it 5 stars if I hadn’t had to use the leave-in spray, but with my crazy, wavy, frizzy hair, that’s probably never going to happen without scary silicones.
