I have this product in every shade (Forever Pink, Forever Red and Forever Peach) and have generally mixed feelings about it. While I do love that this truly is a sheer lip product that also gives off a good amount of color, which is what I want from a lip product (and I’ve found is surprisingly hard to find), it leaves something to be desired. First and foremost, I do not consider this product to be a true stain because I’ve never found the color – regardless of the shade – to be long lasting on me (and I’ve been using all three colors in rotation for about 3 months now). I also do not like how the color can, at times, sink into the fine lines or dry patches on my lips. The scent of the product can be hit or miss depending on the day and how sensitive my nose is. I do like, as I said before, that this product really does add a nice sheer wash of color to the lips – which you can actually build up if you so choose. While I’m not a fan of the glossy finish that is apparent post application, it can easily be minimized by rubbing the color into the skin a bit with your finger or blotting. I will likely keep looking for another sheer lip stain that is better suited for what I want; however, for the time being, I will continue using these are they are the closest thing I’ve been able to find to the type of product I envision.
