In today’s article, I’m sharing my honest Naturtint review after testing their hair care products. Naturtint is a popular brand in the hair care industry, renowned for its natural and organic hair coloring products. The brand is committed to delivering high-quality products that are not only effective but also safe and gentle on the hair and scalp. Naturtint products are made without ammonia, parabens, and other harmful chemicals commonly found in conventional hair dyes, but does still have to include essential chemical ingredients like PPD or PTD and Hydrogen Peroxide. An alternative I would suggest is ONC NaturalColors, which is healthier than other natural hair dye brands. Naturtint is not a truly clean brand, though it is cleaner than conventional brands.
Naturtint’s hair color line is vast and diverse, offering a wide range of shades to suit different hair types and preferences. These products are enriched with organic plant and seed oils and extracts that help to hydrate, repair, and protect the hair, keeping it soft, shiny, and manageable. At first glance, Naturtint’s hair care products looked so much like Garnier. I would not consider Naturtint’s products completely clean nor are they 100% natural, as there are a couple of synthetic ingredients along with sodium benzoate used as the preservative. They are, however, much cleaner in formula than conventional hair care at a similar price point of around $10.
Naturtint CC Cream Leave In Conditioner
The Naturtint Leave In Conditioner is made of 96% naturally derived ingredients and no silicones. Instead, it relies on Baobab Seed Protein, Organic Pea Protein and Organic Mooring Seed Extract to nourish hair while detangling, reducing frizz and taming fly-aways. This feels moisturizing without weighing down my hair, and while it’s not my favorite, it does a decent job for the affordable price point.

Naturtint Color Care Conditioner
For such an affordable price point, the Naturtint Color Care conditioner is also super creamy and nourishing. I thought it would be a watered down version of their hair mask, but it’s only a little bit thinner in consistency. It’s a good option if you have dry or damaged hair and are in need of a conditioner that can adequately moisturize.
I like to use their conditioner as a hair mask each time by applying the product to dry hair for at least an hour before shampooing it out.

Naturtint Deep Conditioning Mask
The Naturtint Deep Conditioning Mask is a richer version of their consistency with ingredients like:
- Quinoa, a superfood full of essential amino acids
- Shea Butter, a natural conditioner
- Baobab Proteins from the tree of life
- Milk Thistle, a silicone alternative
Overall, Naturtint’s hair care ingredients lists are simple; They neither contain a ton of plant ingredients nor a ton of junk either.
I apply the mask to dry hair and leave it on for at least an hour before shampoo-ing it out, and my hair is left softer and more manageable. I wasn’t amazed by the results, but it does help.
