LOOPS face masks are hydrogel face masks that function as skincare treatments to either brighten, rejuvenate, detox, calm, plump or protect skin. If you’re a Riverdale fan, Camila Mendes is LOOPS’ Creative Director.

Note that this is not a brand that markets themselves as clean, natural, non-toxic or any of the usual industry buzzwords. They do not, however, formulate with parabens, phthalates, sulphates or synthetic fragrances and are cruelty-free.

LOOPS’ masks are made in South Korea, so the technology is top-notch and the formulas are made with a dermatologist.

But, the best part about LOOPS  is that they come in two pieces. This allows them to fit any face easily and lay flat on the skin. Technically, you’re supposed to cut sheet masks so they fit, but most people don’t know this or are too lazy to make the effort. Anyways, with LOOPS you don’t have to!

As far as ingredients go, I noticed that some masks are formulated with phenoxyethanol and some are not. Certain masks also contain blue or red artificial color to achieve these fun, colorful shades. There’s also disaodium EDTA. A ton of clean beauty and clean makeup brands include all this (and more) and still call themselves “clean and non-toxic,” so I appreciate that LOOPS isn’t succumbing to those marketing tactics.

These LOOPS hydrogel masks feel amazing. Hydrogel masks, in general, feel fantastic but this feels a bit thinner and more jelly-like than the other hydrogel masks I’ve tried.

They’re designed to stick to your skin, so they don’t fall off while you’re busy working around the home or moving about.

I leave them on for at least 30 minutes or until I notice they begin to thin out, and my skin looks subtly plumper and a lot more even after a long, tiring day.
