Korean skincare line Thank You Farmer is inspired by the honest and tireless work of farmers and their reverence for nature. They focus on making safe, innovative and non-irritating formulas. I first tried Thank You Farmer sunscreens a few years ago and most recently their Rice Pure line. Note that Thank You Farmer sunscreens are chemical sunscreens and their skincare does include a small number of synthetics.

Rice Pure Essential Toner

I love the Rice Pure Essential Toner. Thank You Farmer and I’m From rice toners are my two favorites.

The Rice Toner almost feels like an essence as it’s a moisturizing toner that feels milky.

The notable ingredients in the toner are:

• Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract
• Lotus Flower Extract
• Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water
• Centella Asiatica Extract

The rice used is sourced from Gyodong island where it’s harvested in autumn with a low temperature ultrasonic method that preserves the nutrients and active ingredients of the rice.

Rice Pure Gel and Cream

This is something I’ve never seen before in a moisturizer – it’s literally both a gel and a cream, one submerged in the other.

Rice Pure Gel and Cream allows you to mix and match the gel and cream to suit your skin’s day to day needs. Sometimes I use just the gel, sometimes the cream and sometimes I use both which is super fun.

The gel is actually quite rich and dense, so don’t expect a very light liquid-like gel.

Rice Pure Cream in Ampoule

Ampoules are a skincare category invented by Koreans and they’re in between serums and toners in consistency. Koreans love to add hydrators constantly to their skin and ampoules are one of the many ways they achieve that.

The Rice Pure Ampoule is an extremely liquid like serum that has a dual formulation of two different consistencies that naturally separate. Once you share the bottle you get a uniform milky liquid that has 100,000ppm of rice, fermented extracts, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.

I use this after toner and before moisturizer and enjoy the extra boost of hydration it gives.
