Obviously these are not all clean beauty Korean brands and most are conventional. But, there are some brands that are known to formulate more mindfully than others like COSRX, iUNIK, Pyunkang Yul and Klairs.

I’m slowly trying out each of the products in the calendar and am enjoying discovering all the innovations K beauty has to offer.

For instance, the AXIS – Y PHA Resurfacing Glow Peel is actually very good. I wasn’t sure how well an $18 product would work and expected it to be super mild but I can actually feel this working and it seems to be quite strong. I’m usually always using some kind of BHA / AHA filled product, so I was immediately intrigued that AXIS Y focused on PHA, which is known to be gentler than the other popular acids.
