non toxic perfume for spring summer

Non Toxic Spring Fragrances I’m loving

I’m celebrating the arrival of spring by sharing the non toxic scents I currently have on rotation. If you’re like me and are drawn to soft, clean, floral, fresh and fruity notes during warmer weather, keep reading!

I’m loving Proem by U Beauty

This is such a gorgeous fruity floral that’s so elegant and sophisticated. The rhubarb is bold and oh so feminine. The dominant notes to me are rose, lychee, and vetiver. I find it super feminine and juicy, but there’s also an earthy undercurrent that elevates the whole symphony of notes. The longevity is great and at the end of the day it’s one of the best skin scents I’ve tried. I like it even more when it dries down and after a several hours pass by. It’s got top notes of Centafolia Rose, Chinese Peony, Chinese Magnolia, Night-Blooming Jasmine, middle of notes of Lychee and Rhubarb and base notes of Vetiver, Pistachio, Pink Peppercorn. If you’re looking for a juicy lychee or rhubarb fragrance that feels very grown-up yet seductive, I think this one hits.

I’m loving Snif Crumb Couture

Snif’s Crumb Couture is currently my favorite gourmand because it’s clean and light. I love that Snif is affordable, clean, vegan, paraben-free, and phthalate-free. During winter I love darker gourmands, but Crumb Couture is fantastic for warmer weather. It makes me smell like a buttery croissant, and I like that it’s not too heavy and rich. It’s sweet but not cloying and has great longevity. The notes are croissant accord, toasted vanilla, wild berry jam, blackcurrant, tonka bean and sandalwood. Crumb Couture is part of Snif’s “Secret Menu” so you have to search for it in the search bar.

I’m loving Sh**ty Day by NOYZ

NOYZ’s Sh**ty Day is amazing when I want a refreshing perfume that’s clean, soft and uplifting. This to me smells like clean air and yummy fig. The notes are salty ocean air, clary sage, cucumber, salted fig, lavender, Venezuelan tonka bean, Baltic amber, sea-soaked woods and cedarwood. The longevity isn’t as strong as their Unmute perfume, but I love how this dries down to a beautiful sheer skin scent.

I’m loving Maison Louis Marie No 13 Nouvelle Vague

I got to try out Maison Louis Marie’s No 13 Nouvelle Vague and find it to be a sheer coconut perfume that’s soft and feminine. I smell coconut and fig predominantly and hints of lemon initially. Overall, a lovely scent for spring that reminds me summer is just around the corner. It’s got notes of muguet, coconut waters, lemon, Tuscan Fig, Tonka, Agave, Vetiver, Amber, and Santal. It’s got similar DNA to the rest of the Maison Louis Marie line which is soft, feminine and elegant.

I’m loving Twin Flame by 5 SENS

This is a woodsy refreshing cucumber perfume that’s musky and clean! I like that it’s soft and sheer for days I don’t want to wear a strong perfume. The cucumber is so unique and the woodsy notes round it out well. I find it to be a creamy musky warm scent that’s just beautiful. Plus, love that they’re on the affordable end.

I’m loving Indian Coconut Nectar Body Mist by Pacifica

This is one of my favorite coconut scents in the clean beauty world! My other two are Arizona Bloom by Floral Street, which is a light green type of coconut and Dirty Coconut by Heritic Perfume, which is a darker earthier coconut. But for times I just want to wear a light mist and not a full-on perfume, I reach for Pacifica’s Indian Coconut Nectar. This is a creamy, gourmand kind of coconut that to me has the same projection as a light perfume. I find it to be a buttery, marshmallow-y coconut that turns into a gorgeous skin scent after a few hours. Best of all, it’s insanely affordable at just $12 and the bottle is huge.

I’m loving Caldera Flower by Wit & West Perfumes

Wit & West is the only 100% natural perfume brand in this list, and I got to try out their newest launch Caldera Flower. This scent is inspired by the lush tropics of Panama and has notes of  Bergamot, Neroli, Ginger, Gardenia Absolute, Magnolia, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, In-House Tahitian Vanilla Tincture, and Ambrette Seed. I love the lush symphony of white florals that dominate here and the warm undercurrent that hushes the perfume’s initial brightness. Ginger is such an interesting top note and one I rarely get to experience. Overall, Caldera Flower is a transportive fragrance that’s breathtakingly beautiful.

clean perfume sana jardin tiger by her side non toxic vegan

I’m loving Tiger By Her Side by Sana Jardin

When I want something spicy but light enough for warm weather, I grab Sana Jardin’s Tiger By Her Side. It’s spicy and sensual, yet on the delicate side for an oriental perfume. I would describe it as an incense-y cinnamon rose. At first it’s quite sharp but dries down to a warmer resinous, balsamic scent. Empowering and intoxicating. The notes are frankincense, patchouli, cinnamon, amber, vanilla and Moroccan rose. The other Sana Jardin scents I love are Jaipur Chant and Incense Water.
