Grace & Stella Eye Mask Review

Jessica Alba uses these Grace & Stella eye masks and they’re actually quite affordable – just $20 for nearly 24 pairs of eye masks. After having tried three different Grace & Stella eye masks the winner is the golden energy drink eye masks. The others don’t have as strong of an effect as these golden saviors. Let’s dive into today’s Grace & Stella review.

These are hydrogel masks that have relatively simple ingredients lists. There is propylene glycol which isn’t my favorite.

Pink Eye Mask

The pink eye masks were formulated to target the appearance of saggy, wrinkly under-eye skin and work at hydrating and de-puffing. I initially thought the pink masks would work the best on me because it has Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 for more collagen production and horse chestnuts to reduce dark circles. But it actually turned out to be my least favorite of the three, surprise!

Here’s what it contains:

  • Fructose helps the skin stay hydrated and plump
  • Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein helps in plumping skin and making it feel firmer
  • Hyaluronic Acid
  • Chondrus Crispus Powder is known to counteract the appearance of dark circles and purple-y tones
  • Glycerin moisturizes skin

Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Chondrus Crispus Powder, 1,2-hexanediol, Xanthan Gum, Hydroxyacetophenone, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fructose, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Aesculus Hippocastanum Extract, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Ci 16255

Blue Eye Mask

The Blue Eye Masks are super similar to the pink eye mask, except they have a couple different key ingredients like niacinamide, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract and hyaluronic acid. Their main function is to soothe and hydrate and they pack the least punch for me.

Energy Drink Eye Mask

The Energy Drink Eye Masks stood out to the most. These 24K gold looking masks are great at brightening and energizing the skin (can’t speak to the anti-wrinkle benefits). They also feel slightly thicker than the other masks to me? I also had my boyfriend’s mom try all three masks and she said the energy masks made the most noticeable difference.

The key ingredients of this mask is almost identical to the pink masks and on their website they list them as exactly the same. But if you look closer there’s actually a couple ingredients the pink masks don’t have like corn gluten amino acids, trehalose and mica. I’m not familiar with these being particularly anti-aging but maybe somehow it works (?).
