If you’re looking for healing beyond the physical and into the emotional & spiritual, flower essence therapy may be for you. Flower Essence Therapy addresses healing on multiple levels- body, emotions, mental outlook, attitudes and spiritual understanding. Sometimes our physical ailments are caused by underlying mental & emotional problems – flower essence therapy addresses these problems. So how does flower essence therapy actually work? Firstly it’s based on the principle that every living entity on earth including plants have an energy (chi). Research shows that plants change their energetic and phytochemical makeup based on the needs of the living beings around them. Flower essences capture the vibrational imprint & energy of a flower in water, which is then stabilized in brandy. Our body harmonizes with the essence by shifting our own vibrations to match that of the flowers. You can choose different flowers to achieve different vibrational results & experience a targeted shift in how you feel & perceive.

I was having various sleeping issues (not being able to fall asleep or waking up too early) so I was very eager to try out Lotus Wei’s products. I’ve finished up the Inner Peace Anointing Oil & Radiant Energy Elixir and am still using the Quiet Mind Serum.
Quiet Mind Serum
What is it: Organic serum made from calendula-infused safflower oil, vitamin E, Flower Essences of Bird of Paradise, Passionflower, Dandelion, Brugmansia & Pink Lotus, GEMSTONE essence Kyanite and organic essential oils.
Claimed Effects: Clarity, focus, relaxed body, quiet mind, sound sleep, ability to take breaks + be more effective
How I Use It: I applied to the back of my neck, shoulders and rubbed it into the soles of my feet before sleeping. I recommend keeping this on your nightstand otherwise you won’t use it. You can also apply it to your face but my blogger friend Renata of Green Life in Dublin does not recommend this from personal experience. You can see her review here.
Effects: A light tingling in the soles of my feet and a fragrance that envelopes your senses. Lying in bed I would breathe in this scent as my body absorbed the serumand my mind would go quiet. It’s quite surprising how that worked. I also believe without the mind-body connection it would not work as well. If I laid there and thought about everything that happened during the day and what I needed to do the next day, the serum would obviously not have the effects it should. You need to will away thoughts and clear your mind to let the serum get to work
Thoughts: I absolutely loved this serum and believe it’s a perfect example of what sets Lotus Wei apart as a flower essence brand. It comes in a generous large bottle that lasts. I instantly felt connected to this scent and maybe that’s why its vibrations worked well with my body’s vibrations.
Radiant Energy Elixir
What is it: Flower essences of Pomegranate, Yarrow, Red Clover, Jade Succulent, Lotus, and gem essence of Black Tourmaline, Certified ORganic grape alcohol, and ethically sourced raw desert wildflower honey
Claimed Effects: Energy, vitality, protection, strength, powerful presence, immune system boost, recharge after air travel, computer use, x-rays.
How I Used It: 5 drops 5 times a day under the tongue (I was very diligent about this!)
Effects: A subtle rejuvenating effect. This elixir is great for use after computer use and travel and I used it after my long flight from Milan to LA. I’m usually super fatigued for the first 5-7 days when I go home for the holidays, especially after a hectic final week at work trying to wrap things up, traveling across multiple time zones and then dealing with jetlag, but a combination of forcing my sleep cycle to adjust from Day 1 and taking this elixir made the tiring transition last only 2-3 days. And if ever I felt a wave of tiredness through my body I would take the elixir and feel normal.
Thoughts: This tasted delicious and I liked that it had an immediate effect. It’s not like you have some sort of burst of energy like with coffee, but you feel positive and more uplifted.
Inner Peace Anointing Oil
What is it: Mix of Certified Organic Essential Oils & Flower Essences of Arctic Lupine, Red Hibiscus, Silk Floss , Mountain Laurel , Pink Lotus, GEMSTONE – Emerald
Claimed effects: Deep peace, calm, confidence, comfort + contentment; strength + assuredness during times of high-stress.
How I Used It: I applied to my temple, wrists and neck (pulse points).
Effects: Breathing in the oils for the first minutes provided a relaxation effect that helped calm my nerves. Taking a few moments to stop what you’re doing, clear your mind and simply focus on the scent & your breath had a recharging effect.
Thoughts: It has an uplifting yet calming spicy herbal scent of laveder, geranium, cedar & vetiver. This oil ran out fast for me. I found myself applying often (a few times a day) because I loved the scent but ended up using all of it in just a few weeks. It’s a very small bottle so I would prefer there to be more product.
