Hyaluronic Acid Serum
This is a thick hyaluronic serum that is intensely hydrating and retails for just under $40. It comes in an amber-colored bottle with a dropper applicator. Typology contains two types of hyaluronic acid, one with a high molecular weight, so it stays on the surface of the epidermis, creating a protective film to keep water in the skin cells. The second has low molecular weight and can penetrate much deeper into the skin to stimulate the body’s natural production of hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic Acid is a superstar ingredient when it comes to hydrating since it can hold up to a thousand times its weight in water. This also means that you should be adding moisture to your skin through a hydrator like a mist, essence or toner so there’s something for the molecule to retain. Otherwise, it can be counter effective and draw moisture from your skin making it feel drier.
Pro Vitamin B5 is also known as Panthenol and helps regenerate dermal and epidermal cells.
Bio-sourced Aquaxyl is derived from sugar and increases the natural production of hyaluronic acid in the skin.

If you’re suffering from dry skin, be sure to load up on hydrators and a hyaluronic serum like Typology’s morning and night. I love that this serum works well under skincare and makeup and does not pill. Be careful not to use too much product as this can cause unwanted performance issues. Just a few drops are needed for each use!
