Cocokind just launched their second sunscreen called the Silk SPF Facial Sunscreen Fluid SPF 30. If you’re wondering how the new Cocokind sunscreen compares to their Daily SPF 32, I’m sharing all the details. Read on for my first impressions in this Cocokind Silk SPF review.
Cocokind Daily VS Silk SPF
Cocokind Silk SPF is:
- Hybrid, meaning chemical and physical UV filters are used
- SPF 30
- More lightweight than Daily SPF
- Satin finish
- No white cast (probably would have some kind of white cast on dark skin tones)
Cocokind Daily SPF is:
- 100% mineral zinc oxide as the UV filter
- SPF 32
- Matte finish
- Hint of white cast
Both Cocokind sunscreens are:
- non-scented
- not water resistant
The Cocokind Silk SPF was created for those who need a zero white cast sunscreen and contains about 10% zinc oxide and 10% homosalate.
Cocokind Silk SPF is a little more lightweight than Daily SPF and also feels hydrating and non-greasy. They’re like cousins!
Silk SPF features banana blossom, which is rich in polysaccharides to hydrate and help support the skin barrier’s ability to retain moisture
