AromaTru Diffuser Review: I Tried The New Invention by AirDoctor

I’ve tried a good number of essential oil diffusers, and I’m particularly excited for this one invented by the company behind AirDoctor and AquaTru. AromaTru is not just another essential oil diffuser like the ones that already exist on the market. While there ARE high tech diffusers that don’t require water, AromaTru takes it a step further by also not requiring dropping essential oils every time you use it. With a basic essential oil diffuser, you have to add water  then drop in your essential oils, each and every time. Not to mention you have to clean the container as often as possible. Launched in October 2022, AromaTru is the most hassle free aromatherapy diffuser I’ve tried. I’m sharing my experience using the AromaTru Smart Diffuser.

What I love is that everything can be done with the touch of a button. No water, no cleaning, no refilling, no nothing is required once you set it up.

  • No water, mold or bacteria buildup
  • No constant cleaning and refilling
  • No measuring drops
  • Waterless atomizing diffusion
  • Diffuses up to 4 bottles at a time
  • Mood enhancing ring light
  • Wifi enabled smart version available
  • Connects with AromaTru App
  • Can be used with other brands’ essential oils

One thing to note is that this is not a cheap diffuser and costs nearly $200. If this is something you really want, AromaTru is currently having a launch promo so you can get it at $140.

What’s amazing about this machine is that you insert the essential oil bottles and the machine diffuses directly from the bottle. So there’s no having to change, measure, open, close or deal with the essential oil part until the bottle is all used up.

AromaTru can work with any company’s essential oil bottles so you do not need to use only AromaTru’s. The only thing is that if you’re using their WiFi enabled machine and app then the machine won’t know what essential oils are being used as the AromaTru ones have a special barcode that the machine can automatically scan.

    Important!

If you feel like it isn’t strong, then you probably didn’t secure the essential oil bottle holders properly, because this machine should actually work much stronger than your average diffuser. Check that the holders aren’t loose while in place. They should be securely fixed and not budget at all. You can also check that you’ve placed them properly by noticing a vapor being released be each bottle when the machine is active.

AromaTru offers two options: one that’s WiFi enabled and one that’s not. The WiFi one is slightly more expensive. I think if you want to be 100% hands free, not have to push ANY buttons on the machine and like the idea of controlling the machine from your phone using their app, then the WiFi one is worth it. If you don’t mind using the diffuser manually then the non WiFi enabled version is fine.

I run it everyday, sometimes twice a day and it’s still working great for me!

Andrea I bought the bamboo diffuser via an Amazon back in October and just ordered some essential oils from AromaTru. While shopping around prior to purchasing it seemed AromaTru’s oils were the cheapest with the discounts that I found.

What other brands have you tried or would recommend trying with the diffuser? It seems all would have to be 15mL vials or transferred to a 15mL vial.

      Thanks!

Hi! Yes I’ve actually been transferring the essential oils I already have into my empty aromatru ones because they’re the only ones that properly attach. I also use Neom Organics essential oil blends and some single ones from Plant Therapy.

Thank you! This is good info to know. I already receive emails from Plant Therapy and Rocky Mountain Oils but will check out Neom as I’ve never heard of them. I was concerned if other 15mL vials would properly fit or whether AromaTru was proprietary in that sense.
