Better Off Nail Polish Remover

I haven’t extensively tested out non-toxic nail polish removers, but I was curious to try this new product by Huella. The Better Off Remover is acetone free and alcohol free, and has an oily liquid consistency. This soy-based remover is a gentle, yet effective way to erase nail polish that’s not going to remove as quickly as a conventional polish remover, but still does eventually get everything off. Better Off is formulated with key essential oils and vitamins, such as Lavender Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E. It does feel oily so my cuticles feel like they’re getting a treatment.

I wasn’t used to this type of nail polish remover so here are some tips for you to get the most out of your use:

• Use the applicator attached to the lid to rub off the nail polish
• A lot of product will be drenched to the applicator so apply directly over jar so it catches any drip
• Add product to all your nails first to let the product soak in and allow for easier removal
• Add firm pressure to remove multiple coats of nail polish

Huella Nail Polish

I really like the way these polishes apply, look and last and I think they offer a great variety of shades from fun and bold to sophisticated and demure. One of my bottles had a brush fan that was wider than others which I thought was odd.

With the proper base and top coat, the Huella polish lasts me a decent amount of time before chipping.
