I tested a bunch of Saie products and while they have some stellar products, Saie also has some major misses. Read on for my Saie Beauty review and the products I thought were the best and worst!
Is Saie Beauty clean beauty?
Saie Beauty lies on the lower end of clean as some of their products do use synthetics and lake dyes. It would depend on which Saie product you’re looking at. Depending on the individual, Saie makeup would not be truly clean to those looking for completely pure and all natural formulas.
I tried Saie Slip Skin Tint SPF 35
This is a product I WOULD repurchase. Saie Slip Skin Tint SPF 35 is Saie Beauty’s most popular makeup product and it’s a clean tinted moisturizer with 100% mineral zinc oxide. It’s a true tinted moisturizer through and through with the consistency of a very light, almost airy moisturizer and just the slightest hint of tint that doesn’t provide any real coverage. I love the way my skin still looks like my skin, just a little more evened out and hydrated looking. It feels wonderfully hydrating and feels like nothing on the skin. I find that it blends and sinks in effortlessly and is just an EASY SPF tinted moisturizer that is crowd-pleasing and hassle-free. Slip Tint contains a number of skincare ingredients like:
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Licorice Root extract
- 100% mineral zinc-oxide
- Pansy Flower

I tried Glowy Super Gel
The second most popular Saie makeup product is their Glowy Super Gel. This is a versatile face product that can be used as an all over highlighter, a primer or mixed into your foundation. This liquid highlighter has a thin, watery consistency and provides a very subtle, natural looking effect. Illuminators are not a product I typically go for as I prefer a matte look, but this is very easy to use and feels weightless on skin. For me though, Glowy Super Gel is not an essential makeup product.
I tried Hydrabeam Concealer
I would not repurchase this product. While I appreciate that this is a skin-centric concealer made with Squalane, Glycerin, Cucumber, and Tomato extract, the Saie Hydrabeam Concealer just did not work for me at all. The packaging and the wand felt very cheaply made. The consistency felt slick and oily. And the coverage was just not enough. If you put this formula in a bigger bottle it would pass easily for a tinted face oil-serum in my opinion.
I tried Dew Blush
Since I wrote this post I tried a couple more shades of their Dew Blush and really enjoyed their cool pink shade. Dew Blush is a hybrid cream-gel blush that’s applied with a doe brush applicator. I wasn’t smitten honestly. It gives more of a sheer, flushed look that’s natural looking. I know it’s not a multi-use product but it could double as a lip tint oil. Sometimes I like to dab a small amount on my lips when I’m in a hurry.
I tried Said Mascara
The Saie Mascara was another underwhelming product from the line. While it probably works fine, if not well, if you have luscious lashes, the mascara is just “meh” for my sparse thin lashes. The performance pales in comparison to Honest Beauty, Inika Organic and Tower 28 mascara in my personal experience. I would not repurchase this product. I tried Airset Radiant Loose Setting Powder
The Saie Setting Powder is a product I can see myself repurchasing if I needed a loose setting powder. But I generally always opt for pressed powders as I don’t like the idea of breathing in these particles when they’re loose. Saie utilizes a safe synthetic mimic of mica and polysorbate in their formula. The Airset setting powder does perform well, applies velvet-y and blends in seamlessly to give skin a natural finish.
Only a small amount is dispensed from the holes so it’s a bit annoying trying to get more out constantly.
