Graydon Skincare first landed on my radar with their Fullmoon Serum, which is still their most popular product. I finally got around to purchasing their Fullmoon Serum, Putty, Berry Rich and Face Glow, the latter three all being moisturizers. Graydon is a Canadian brand with a focus on superfood ingredients that’s been around since the early days of clean beauty. They’re committed to total ingredient transparency, sustainable sourcing and using clean, effective ingredients. From the outer packaging alone, the line looks very simple, but look a little deeper and you’ll find their formulas pack a punch. I believe that in forgoing luxury bottles and packaging, Graydon is able to invest more in using quality formulas instead of cutting corners with fillers and cheaper ingredients. Graydon Fullmoon Serum

This ethereally-colored face serum is a natural alternative to retinol that’s safe enough for the most sensitive skin. Hypoallergenic, non-irritating and dermatologist-tested, the Fullmoon Serum begins in a unique base of moringa leaf extract and boosted with malachite extract, peptides, collagen, fruit extracts, coffee leaf and more. This is an intensely hydrating serum with a thicker consistency so a little goes a long way. There’s no added scent except from the natural ingredients and blue tansy.

Graydon Putty Super Soothing Face Cream

This is a great face cream if your skin is sensitized or irritated, recovering from a more invasive treatment, or just flaky and dry. It has more potent soothing properties than the average face cream thanks to its chamomile flower extract base. Putty also contains the highly anti-inflammatory and calming Colloidal Oatmeal, Zinc Oxide, Baobab powder, turmeric root oil, carrot seed oil and more. This is a rich and highly creamy moisturizer with a light yellow tint.

Graydon Face Glow

Graydon Face Glow is a tinted moisturizer that helps protect and nourish skin while giving it a hint of color. This isn’t a tint that I particularly like as it’s a pink-brown hue, but the ingredients do not disappoint. Similar to the other Graydon products I’ve tried, Face Glow has a thoughtful formula that begins in a superfood base of spirulina maxima extract.

The consistency is that of a light and silky lotion. Face Glow feels hydrating and lightweight, absorbing quickly into the skin. It contains semi-precious smithsonite,  raspberry seed oil, sea buckthorn oil, sweet cherry seed oil along with banana fruit extract, apricot fruit extract and coffee seed extract. There’s also a bit of mica to give skin the slightest glow.

I love the formula but I wish the tint were more natural looking, because it’s a tad too unnatural on my skin. A lighter, more neutral beige would work better for me, but if you are deeper in shade this might work better for you.

Graydon Berry Rich Probiotic Face + Eye Cream

So far each of the Graydon skincare products I’ve tried start off with a superfood base and Berry Rich begins with Spirulina extract. This has a fun blue shade (doesn’t tint the skin) and feels rich and moisturizing. As a probiotic-focused face cream, this product works to strengthen the skin barrier with vegan probiotics, blueberry seed oil and blue-green algae. Berry Rich is a thick moisturizer, but not quite as thick as Putty in my opinion.
